Happy love week friends! Today I am sharing a way to get the little’s involved in a little valentine fun, and the best part.. it’s mess free! I call it “Shake it, Shake it Valentine hearts” <3
Here’s what you’ll need:
Various colored card stock (I used red, white, and shimmer)
A couple jars (I used various sized Mason jars)
Kid friendly paint (I used red and white)
Optional: heart shaped cookie cutter
Add a few drops of paint to each jar. I did one jar of red, one jar of white, and then a third jar of red and white paint mixed
Next, cut the card stock into squares and drop them into the jars
This is where the fun comes in, let your little’s shake up the jars. Graylan loved this part and danced around the room as he shook his jar.
Once the paper has a nice coat of paint, remove the paper from the jars and allow to dry.
Once the paint is dry, cut the squares into heart shapes and use to decorate a Valentine’s day card, attach to paper to make a collage, or if you want to make a special valentine gift for someone special throw them into a frame and it makes an inexpensive, handmade gift
That’s it! Super easy, fun Valentine’s Day craft!
